Beaver Lake, New Year's Day, 1st January 2002
A combination of over celebration and a heavy fall of snow during the day constrained us indoors, not much happening until after 3 pm. A fresh blanket of soft snow covered everything, a real New Year's treat. We stirred for a coffee before reading for sometime after. The weather became quite windy and unsettled later on, preventing Tom and I from walking up to the GPS site. Today was a real holiday indeed.
